2. What the App Does

DUO-MAOMAO is a Reddit-based survival game built with Devvit.

The app lets users:

• Start and maintain a cat survival run
• Check in on a fixed game cycle
• Enter CRITICAL, GHOST, and DEAD states based on missed check-ins
• Use items such as Guardian Bell, Fish Can, Adrenaline Shot, and Time Hourglass
• Add friends and emergency contacts
• Send invites, SOS requests, and rescue actions
• Participate in leaderboards, feeds, and optional sharing features

3. User Rules

By using DUO-MAOMAO, you agree to use it in a normal gameplay manner and not to abuse Reddit, the subreddit, or other players.

You agree not to:

• Use the app for spam, harassment, or manipulation
• Abuse invites, private messages, rescue flows, or sharing features
• Attempt to exploit bugs, cooldowns, or game-state desynchronization
• Use automation or coordinated behavior to gain unfair advantage
• Impersonate other users or misrepresent ownership of an account

We may limit, reset, or remove gameplay access if abuse, exploitation, or platform-risk behavior is detected.

4. Gameplay Disclaimer

DUO-MAOMAO is provided as a game experience for entertainment.

We do not guarantee:

• Continuous uptime
• Error-free state synchronization
• Permanent preservation of game progress
• That all features will always behave identically across all subreddits or all release stages

The app may occasionally require fixes, resets, or maintenance.

5. Reddit Platform Disclaimer

DUO-MAOMAO runs on Reddit and Devvit platform capabilities. Gameplay, storage, and app interactions are handled within Reddit/Devvit platform services. Some behavior depends on Reddit platform behavior, subreddit installation state, permissions, or release approval state.

As a result:

• Some features may behave differently between test and production environments
• Some actions may depend on Reddit platform availability
• Shared posts, messages, or other Reddit-facing features remain subject to Reddit rules and subreddit moderation

Users are also responsible for complying with Reddit’s own rules and policies.

6. Service Changes

We may change, rebalance, suspend, or remove features at any time, including:

• Game rules
• Item behavior
• Rewards
• Sharing features
• Social features
• Leaderboards
• Data retention behavior

We may also reset or migrate data when needed for maintenance, safety, or release management.

To the maximum extent allowed by applicable rules, DUO-MAOMAO is provided on an “as is” basis.

We are not liable for:

• Loss of streaks, items, rewards, or progress
• Delays or failures caused by Reddit platform issues
• Subreddit moderation actions
• User-generated content outcomes, including posts or messages created through Reddit
