2. What Reddit Data We Access

DUO-MAOMAO runs inside Reddit using Devvit capabilities. To provide the game experience, the app may access the following Reddit data that is available in the current subreddit and user context:

• Your Reddit user ID
• Your Reddit username
• The current subreddit name
• The current post ID or post context when needed
• Basic public Reddit profile data that Reddit makes available to the app, such as avatar-related information when needed for display

If you use social features, the app may also use Reddit usernames and user IDs for:

• Friend requests
• Emergency contact notifications
• Invite codes
• Rescue and revival interactions
• Private messages sent by the app through Reddit

DUO-MAOMAO does not request your Reddit password, email password, payment information, or unrelated private account content.

3. Whether We Call External APIs

DUO-MAOMAO does not use a separate third-party game server for normal gameplay, and it does not send ordinary gameplay data to an external business system outside Reddit/Devvit.

The app runs using Reddit and Devvit platform capabilities, including:

• Reddit API
• Devvit Redis storage
• Devvit realtime channels
• Devvit scheduler
• Devvit media upload/storage inside Reddit infrastructure

In other words, gameplay, storage, messaging, and app behavior rely on Reddit/Devvit platform services, not an independent external backend operated outside Reddit.

4. What We Store

DUO-MAOMAO stores gameplay and account-linked game state inside Reddit/Devvit platform storage so the survival challenge can continue across sessions.

This may include:

• Game state, such as NEW, ALIVE, CRITICAL, GHOST, and DEAD
• Current cat selection and run progress
• Streaks, total days, best streak, and timestamps related to state transitions
• Inventory and item usage, such as Guardian Bell, Fish Can, Adrenaline Shot, and Time Hourglass
• Fish Bones, Spirit, and other gameplay rewards
• Share cooldowns and related anti-spam safeguards
• Friend links, emergency contacts, SOS records, and rescue-related logs
• Leaderboard data
• Feed data such as check-in and death records
• Invite codes and friend-request records
• Limited app-operation records needed to keep the game functioning correctly inside Reddit/Devvit

5. How Long Data Is Kept

Gameplay data is kept for as long as it is reasonably needed to operate the app, preserve the player’s ongoing run, maintain leaderboard integrity, support friend/rescue features, and prevent abuse.

Some records may expire automatically depending on feature design, such as:

• Invite codes
• Some cooldown records
• Some temporary share/session records

Other gameplay records may remain until:

• They are reset by the player through normal gameplay logic
• They are removed during maintenance or data cleanup
• You ask us to remove them

6. How We Use the Data

We use data only to operate DUO-MAOMAO inside Reddit/Devvit, including:

• Running the survival game state machine
• Saving your progress
• Enabling check-ins, deaths, revivals, and items
• Supporting friends, invites, SOS, and rescue actions
• Showing leaderboards and in-game feeds
• Enforcing cooldowns and anti-abuse rules
• Sending Reddit private-message notifications related to gameplay

We do not sell your gameplay data.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent user data to third parties.

Some gameplay results are intentionally visible inside Reddit as part of the game experience, for example:

• Leaderboards
• Shared posts created through Reddit
• Friend and rescue interactions
• In-game feed entries

These are part of the gameplay experience, not commercial data sales.

8. Children and Sensitive Data

DUO-MAOMAO is a lightweight social game experience and is not intended to collect sensitive personal data.

Please do not use DUO-MAOMAO to submit sensitive personal information.
